The staff, especially Indira and her father, were incredibly kind and helpful. They even drove me to the bus terminal on the day of my departure. The hostel is located in a quiet area and the double room I booked was clean and comfortable. The bathroom and toilets were spacious and very comfortable. The hostel also has a lovely garden where guests can enjoy their meals. I highly recommend Hostel Do Alto - Fao for its friendly staff, clean rooms, and great location.

I recently stayed at Hostel Do Alto - Fao for a few nights and it was a great experience. The room was clean, tidy, and had a comfortable bed. The bathroom facilities were modern and in perfect working order. I loved the well-equipped kitchen, especially the coffee machine. A delightful surprise was the sunny garden terrace at the rear of the hostel, perfect for relaxing. The location was quiet and not in the center of town, but that was clearly stated and not an issue for me.

I had a wonderful stay at a cozy and special hostel in a beautiful city. The family that runs the hostel made me feel right at home and the kind people in the area were always ready to help. I met amazing people and can't wait to return and enjoy the ocean views again!

The lack of curtains on every bed may affect the privacy of guests.
